Go back 2,000 years to the life of Christ, then another 4,000 years to the time of the Pharaohs, the beginning of Egyptian civilization - that's the starting point of Carney's film. Egypt: Land of the Pharaohs can give viewers a greater appreciation of that great civilization. Howard Carter's discovery of King Tut's tomb is pictured, for example, and viewers will see much of King Tutanchamun's wealth. People from all over the world have stood in line to see the boy , king's gold and wealth beyond belief , - just as they have gazed in awe at " the Ramses II exhibits currently on display at BYU. The Temple of Rameses at Abu Simbel is also shown, as are the Pyramids and Sphinx, the City of the Dead, the Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Nefertari, and many other ancient historical spots. Egypt: Land of the Pharaohs will be shown Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Calvin L. Rampton Technology Building auditorium at Utech's Red-- ' wood Road campus.
