Even the rooms for preschoolers are "beginning to look a lot like Christmas" as they rehearse a program that, according to advisers, is expected to draw such a large crowd that it will be necessary to take it on the road and present it in another school with a large auditorium. Showtime is 7 p.m. Wednesday at Butler middle school. There will be everything from angels to elves in the program. "A couple of Santas will even appear in the program entitled The Twelve Daze of Christmas report the teachers. Tonight (Thursday) students in Pods 1A and IB will present their Christmas program, A Christmas at 7 p.m. at Jordan Stocking Mix-uValley. The cast includes Jenny Thurston, Katie Plott, Katee Black, Jeff Martin, Troy Benedict, Ali Brandy, Mike Wallace, LaPrele Ruf, Karrie Grover, Joanne Cantu, Danny Holland and John Brooks. Others will be Jim Allsop, Michael Young, Vickie Servey, David Nebeker, Darla McAllister, Annette Roberts, Mindy Gaylor, Melinda Shakespear and Kelly Clements. The program will also include a moe, Gloria Holt, Venda Seal and Lola Jacobsen. The Never Ending Christmas Tree was the play that students of Pod 4A put on for their family and friends last night (Wednesday). The story was written by teachers, Nick Daniloff, Dorthy Pearce, Ann Fullwood and it centered around the idea that one Christmas tree that was put up by a family eventually was shared by a bear family, a beaver family and a rabbit family and two little mice. The cast included students age Ills. Featured were Steven Thorell, Misti Chidester, Kaylyn Vawdry, Karolee Berrett, Keven Swenson, Jason Smiley, Ginger Crawford, Jared Peart, Jared Noack, Tara Jorgensen, Kiel Petersen, Tushan Bacon, Shane Bronson, Rod Chambers and Kerrilyn Posey. Ann Anderson and Tammy Pearson, students at Murray high, helped make much of the scenery. musical number by Randy Johnson and Karen Wallwork. Pods 2 and 3 will work together to present The Little Lost Angel Students will be taking the parts of shepherds, travelers and sheep. Featured are Billy Anderson; Bret Bertola, Chad Brinkerhoff, Shelby Curtis, Dixie Dawson, Matthew Dunn, Paul Edic, Jimmy Garmoe, Bonnie Jean Guymon, Colby Hatch, Tommy Heighton, Jason Holt, John Justus, Jason Kulp and Denise Mad-so- Others include Cindy . Moncur, Nassir Mullahkhel, Allyn Olson, Sam Riding, Nikki Scott, Holden Stirland, Randy Webb, Ruth Whittle, Lynel Thurber and Steven Kuehn. The angels will be portrayed by Collette Pace, Stacey Brunson, Elizabeth Murphy and Robin Taylor. The narrator will be Cheryl Argyle. All teachers will be singing the song, "The Rose," under direction of Judy Jackson. Parents and friends are being invited to attend the program. Teachers also extended a special thanks to room mothers for help with the program and during the school year.
