Funeral services for Francis Roland Hardcastle, 42, of Sandy, who died last Friday in a Salt Lake hospital of burns from molten Marsha of Granger visited with Mr. and Mra. Robert Moulton and family, fa-mily, Robert Jr., Linda, Kathy and Dicky, last Friday evening. Tuesday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. , Fred Fahrni and family were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fahrni and children, Junior and Judy Ann, of Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Davidson and family, Mike, Julis and Paula ' of Magna visited Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Don Hopkins and family, Ronald, Judy, Joann and Michael. James Reed left last Wednesday and returned last Friday from a business trip to Pocatello, Idaho. While there he stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Sid Arnold. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Johnson entertained at a birthday dinner Wednesday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Everett Allinson. Other guests were Mrs. Uettia Peterson, Danny and Billy Allinson and the Johnson's children Randy, Richard, Ronald and Robert. Mr. and Mr. Max Lovell and children, Dee and Marilyn, spent Sunday picnicking in Liberty Park. Lark Ward MiaMaids held their annual rose tying ceremony at the wardhouse Tuesday evening. Those participating were Sonja Reed, Suellen and Carol Rasmussen, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Holladay, Virginia Neilsen, Joyce Peterson, Marcine Edwards, Vauna Lea and Donna Deakin, Marilyn Dalley, Polly Abplanalp, and their teacher, Mrs. Gordon Deakin. Parents of the girls were in attendance. After the program, light refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Reed and children, Brent and Susan, of Mid-vale Mid-vale spent Mother's Day with Mr. and Mrs. James Reed and daughter, Sonja. Mr. and Mrs. VirppJ Rostron and daughter, Lorraine, were Mother's Day guests of Mr, and Mrs. David Daniels and family, Gale, Jack, Joyce, Robert, Mike and David Jr. of Provo. Lark Ward Mutual enjoyed a tour of the Cloverleaf Dairy in Salt Lake City last Saturday and also saw a film on dairying before making mak-ing the tour. About 35 attended. Tuesday afternoon the Lark Pony League played their first preseason pre-season .baseball game with Kearns at Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fahrni of Kearns were dinner guesta Wednesday Wed-nesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prowse and children. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foist had as guests Sunday the following relatives: re-latives: Mrs. Robert Cole and son, Gay, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton of Copperton, Mr. and Mrs. Cordon Deakin, Mrs. Maude Deakin of Midvale and Mr. LARK NEWS Jackie Dalley PR 4-2789 Patricia Dalley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jnmes N. Dalley of Lark, has been chosen for membership in Alpha Tau Delta, honorary nursing nurs-ing organization, at the University of Utah. A nursing major at the U.. Miss Dalley is a 1959 graduate of Bingham High, where she was a member of the band, pep club, school play cast and the traveling assembly cast. Mrs. Delia Allinson of Eureka spent last week visiting with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ever-ett Allinson and sons, Danny and Billy. |
