"She attended schools in Vernal and following her marriage made her first home in Vernal. vShe moved to Utah County in 1928 and settled in Orem in 1942 where she had since resided. He was active in the Mona Ward of the LDS Church where he was a ward teacher for many years and for eight years was secretary to the Third Quorum of Elders of toe Juab Stake. Mr. Carter had a beautiful voice and in earlier years sang in many funerals. He has been a member of the ward choir. He ii survived by his widow. one son and two daughters, Owen Carter of Mona. Elma Sperry of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Warren (Geneva) Culpepper of Falls Church, Va.
