Memorial Day Service at the Park City Cemetery A Memorial Day service will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 28, at Park City Cemetery. The service will feature a performance by the Park City Treble Makers, and a memorial to the crew of a B-18 bomber that crashed into the Iron Mountain saddle on Nov. 17. 1941. The event is free and open to the public. Park City Film Series: ‘Isle of Dogs’ Park City Film Series will present Wes Anderson’s “Isle of Dogs,” rated PG-13, through Sunday, May 27, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screening will start at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. In this stop-motion-animated film, an outbreak of canine flu in Japan leads all dogs to be quarantined on an island. A boy journeys there to rescue his dog and gets help from a pack of misfit canines. His quest inspires a group of dog lovers to expose a bizarre government conspiracy. Nuzzles & Co will be at each screening, with adoptable dogs and puppies. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $7 for students and senior citizens. Tickets for Friday to Sunday range from $29 to $45. “The Full Monty” is a musical about unemployed steel workers who become strippers. The production does include brief male backside nudity. Saturday Morning Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve Saturday morning nature walks are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. Thursday, May 31 Monster Drawing Rally Park City Summit County Arts Council and the Kimball Art Center will host the second Monster Drawing Rally from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at the art center, 1401 Kearns Blvd. The rally is a live drawing event and party that allows spectators learn the creative process, build relationships with local artists and grow their art collections. Artists will take shifts drawing and making artwork for 50 minutes. Sketches turn into finished pieces made from collage, watercolor, acrylic, graphite and other media. Finished drawings are immediately available for purchase. Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Children ages 10 and younger will be admitted for free.
