These districts will provide property owners with new opportunities to develop land in accord- ance with the Eastern Summit County General Plan; and WHEREAS, on February 18, 2016 and March 29, 2018 the Eastern Summit County Planning Commission forwarded positive recommendations to the Summit County Council on proposed changes to Title 11, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of the Eastern Summit County Development Code; the Zone District Map; and proposed changes to Appendix A: Definitions; and WHEREAS, on March 29, 2018 the Eastern Summit County Planning Commission forwarded a positive commendation to the County Council regarding amendments to Title 11, Chapter 4: Master Planned Developments—Applicabili ty; and WHEREAS, these amendments also streamline the code to make it easier and more user-friendly for both County staff and the general public of Eastern Summit County alike; and WHEREAS, on June 16, 2016, March 1, 2017, July 26, 2017, August 23, 2017, December 20, 2017, February 7, 2018, and April 11, 2018 the Summit County Council held public hearings on proposed changes to the Zone District Map and Chapter 3 of the Code.
