Lewinsky emerged from being the “patient zero of Internet shaming” to become a scholar and anti-bullying advocate. Her TED Talk on cyberbullying has received more than 11 million views. Park City Film Series: ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ The Park City Film Series will present Martin McDonagh’s’ “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” rated R, from Friday, Jan. 5, to Sunday, Jan 7, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Friday and Saturday screenings will start at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. After months have passed without an arrest in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred (Frances McDormand) makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed to the town’s revered chief of police. When his second-in-command gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing’s law enforcement reaches explosive heights. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – African-American women working at NASA who were the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn. Richard Thompson at the Egyptian Theatre Guitarist Richard Thompson, known for his works with Fairport Convention and his solo career, will perform at 8 p.m. through Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. Thompson was named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of All Time. Monday, Jan. 8 From Miners to Nomads: Work Culture in Park City Richard Ellis, a ghostwriter, will give a presentation titled “From Miners to Nomads: Work Culture in Park City through the Lens of a Ghostwriter” from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, at the Park City Museum, 528 Main St. Ellis will dig into the culture of web commuters and take the audience through an interactive exercise. Little Naturalist Story Time A Little Naturalist story time will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, at the Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction. Little Naturalist is the perfect program for three-to five-year-olds who are curious about animals, their habitats, the environment and exploring nature. The event will feature reading a selected nature-themed book, exploring the natural world and completing a craft. This year the Wine Club will taste wines from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Each wine will be paired with a warm winter bite.
