Scott Twlight Ride Series Each Wednesday in August, Deer Valley Resort will extend its mountain biking hours to host the Scott Twilight Ride Series from 4-8 p.m., on the Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express chairlifts every Wednesday. Park City Museum’s Historic Main Street Walking Tours Park City Museum volunteers will lead historic Main Street walking tours at 2 p.m. Monday through Friday each week. Groups of up to 15 will meet at the museum, 528 Main St., at 1:45 p.m. and take the trolley to the top of the street and walk down. Tours run about one hour and 15 minutes. Throwback Thursday Movies: ‘Three Amigos’ Park City Film Series will present a free screening of John Landis’ “Three Amigos,” rated PG, as part of its free weekly Throwback Thursday programming at 7 p. m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Three out of work silent movie actors are accidentally drawn to a Mexican village that is being harassed by a gang of outlaws. Code Club at the Park City Library A code club meets Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. The club learns how to program computers, which helps members create their own video games and websites, and in the process, gain useful technology skills. This program was funded in part through a grant from Utah State Library Division, Department of Heritage and Arts, and from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, which administers the Library Services and Technology Act. Park City Classic Car Show The Wasatch Mountain Jaguar Register will present the 2017 Park City Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, on lower Main Street. The show is free an open to the public. The event is primarily focused on classic and vintage British and European cars, but will also include original American examples and newer British and European exotic supercars. The show does not feature muscle cars or hotrods. Attendees will get a chance to vote for their favorite car. Fox School of Wine’s Weekend Wine Series The Fox School of Wine will start its weekend wine series classes at 6 p.m. every Saturday at the Silver Baron Lodge, Lower Deer Valley, 2880 Deer Valley Drive East. The classes are designed to give both the beginner and the experienced wine lover a glimpse into little known stories, facts and history that make the world of wine so interesting. Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve Swaner EcoCenter and Preserve EcoHosts lead weekly nature walks on the Swaner Preserve at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday.
