Minghini June 11, 1934 – Saturday, May 20 Samuel Arthur Minghini, 82, passed away peacefully in his home in Woodstock, Georgia, on Saturday, May 20. Sam was born in Boyce, Virginia on June 11, 1934, son of the late Charles Arthur Minghini and Hattie Hottle. He loved amusements parks, horse racing, NASCAR, bowling and baseball. He was a loving father and adoring grandfather. Sam took great pride in his work regardless of the job. His strong work ethic and attention to detail were qualities his children both admired and inherited. He was a grocer for most of his life. He opened the Clark County Food Center in 1960 and went to work for Safeway in 1973. He retired in 2000 after 27 years as a night stocker and grocery clerk. He is survived by his five children: Steven Minghini of Winchester, Virginia; Karen Fleming of Woodstock, Georgia; Anita Minghini of Winchester, Virginia; Teresa Haynes of Park City; Mark Minghini of Greensburg, Pensylvania. He is also survived by eight grandchildren — Amanda Fleming, Austin Minghini, Lauren Haynes, Adam Lambert, Margaret Haynes, Ryan Lambert, Sarah Minghini, Meghan Minghini — and a sister, Ruth Loy of Winchester, Virginia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, at Lakeside Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. A memorial and celebration of life service will begin at 4 p.m. with a reception immediately following. The court placed the defendant on court probation for 12 months, ordered him to serve 90 days in jail, and complete other standard terms and conditions. Corina Villegas, 28, of Commerce, Colorado, entered a no contest plea to attempted possession or use of a controlled substance, a Class B misdemeanor, and prohibited uses of identification card, a Class C misdemeanor. Jose Adrian Delarosa-Constantino, 38, of Park City, was sentenced for the offense of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. Jensen, 28, of Twin Falls, Idaho, was sentenced for the offense of dealing in materials harmful to a minor, a third-degree felony. The court imposed a zero-tofive year sentence at the Utah State Prison. That sentence was suspended and the court placed the defendant on court probation for 12-months, ordered him to complete standard terms and conditions.
