During the event, JDC students will be asked various questions from an interviewer. They also will perform demonstrations and choreography they’ve created. New Volunteer Orientation at the Park City Museum New volunteer orientation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Park City Museum, 528 Main St. The museum, a nonprofit, is seeking volunteers to help install and take down traveling exhibits, catalog and process collection items, assist in the Research Library, help with special events, lead both adult tours and school group programs and assist as gallery guides. Thursday, Feb. 16 ‘Decanted’ Screening and Fundraiser for National Ability Center Park City Film Series will screen Nick Kovacic’s “Decanted,” not rated, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. There will be a prescreening wine tasting at 6 p.m. for ages 21 and older. Tickets to the screening are $8 for general admission and $7 for students. Tickets to the wine tasting and screening are $35. The price includes three glasses of wine. The event will feature pairings of unique wines with cheeses and meats from Nosh Specialty Cheese Shop. The theme this is month “How Sweet It Is.” Participants will learn how to use fig jam, honeycomb and other sweet items to dress up cheeses to match with delicious wines. Park City Film Series: ‘Lion’ The Park City Film Series will screen Garth Davis’ “Lion,” rated PG-13, from Friday, Feb. 17, through Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Friday’s and Saturday’s screenings will start at 8 p.m. Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. “Lion” is a feature film about Saroo, who gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of kilometers across India and away from his home and family. He learns to survive on the streets of Calcutta before being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, Saroo -- armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth -- sets out to find his lost family and return to his first home.
