Applications from nonprofit organizations, certified as tax exempt, will be accepted. Grant applications ranging from $500 to $3,000 will be considered. Since 2008, the Bessie Minor Swift Foundation has awarded more than $370,000 to nonprofit organizations. Funds have been provided to schools and community colleges, libraries and a number of small local organizations. The Grant history is available on the website.
