Flash floods coursed over the south plains of Texas, a favorite playground of deadly tornadoes, south Texas, and southwest Texas, where more than 200 persons were forced to flee their homes in San Antonio. A levee broke on the west bank of the Trinity River near Dallas, pouring water over rich farmlands which is expected to flood the homes of 75 to 80 persons in the area today.
