Before her marriage she earned her living painting animal portraits by commission while living in San Diego, Cal. Since coming to Payson, she, has become interested In painting human portraits and has completed several studies, Including one! of her husband and one of baby Charles. A hand carved figure of a horse, displayed In her home, stands as evidence of her aptness as a wood carver, though she will tell you that this Is her only completed attempt In this line of art. The horse is shown jumping a fence, and Mrs. Allgood states that she loves horses especially Jumping horses.
