Rites Scheduled , m Three Hurt In Weekend Provo Crashes Three persons were injured and damages were reported as a result of a trio of automobile accidents Friday. Injured were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Thomas, 314 E. 14th N. and Lew Reynolds, 63, Spanish Fork. Mrs. Thomas suffered a possible broken nose, shock and abrasions; Mr. Thomas, possible fractured ribs, cuts and bruises, and Mr. Reynolds, bruises, abrasions, and shock. The Thomases were injured In an accident at. Fifth North and Fifth West at 8 p.m. when their southbound car stopped at the semaphore. Two other southbound cars also were involved in the crash. Miller, 67, Owner of four theaters in American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Lent and former city council man of American Fork and Heber, died Saturday at 2:40 a.m. at his home following a prolonged ill .' ness from heart trouble. ' Mr. Miller was born Oct 29, 1882 in American Fork, son of Joseph and Emma Paxman Miller.; He attended the 'American Fork schools. He married Melissa Openshaw of Santaquin. She died in 1916, and he married Cora Danielson a year later.-Themade their home in Heber for 13 years where he operated a motion pic- ture theater. Rebuilds Theater Moving to American Fork 24 years ago, Mr. Miller bought a theater, and later opened theaters at Pleasant Grove and Lehi. All three of his theaters were burned down in the past 10 years. He rebuilt all of them, and constructed the new Coral theater, which had its opening a week ago. Mr. Miller served as a member of the Heber City council, and later was on the American Fork , city council. A member of the LDS church, he was a high priest at the time of his death. While at Heber he was a member of the bishopric, and. was stake superintendent of Sunday Schools. He was also a Sunday school seuperintendent in the American Fork Second ward for 16 years.
