According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Courtroom K" is set in Milwaukee Superior Court and focuses on a judge, a prosecutor and a public defender. Attanasio wrote the script on spec and will executive produce. In addition to his long tenure on "House," other writing TV credits for Attanasio include work on "Gideon's Crossing" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." He's been nominated for a pair of Oscars for adapting "Quiz Show" and "Donnie Brasco." roducing Warner Bros. The CW has teamed up with "Evil Dead" director Sam Raimi to bring a little more fear to TV. Raimi, Jay Bienstock and Robert Tapert will executive produce the series "13" that combines the horror genre with a reality show format, it was announced Monday. The series will premiere in summer 2008. Raimi, who has also directed the "Spider-Man- " films, will also be producing the adaptation of Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" books, a series that will return Raimi back to the fantasy syndication fold. 'The Ice Storm' The Ang Lee ("Brokeback Mountain," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "The Hulk") directs this 1997 drama set among parents and teens searching for meaning in the Connecticut suburbs of the 1970s. With a cast led by Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Allen, Christina Ricci, Elijah Wood and Tobey Maguire, the film centers on two families whose adults and youth idle away their.time in sexual experimentation, booze and drugs and prying into the lives of others as the Watergate scandal builds on the news in the background. Crime procedurals that delve into the sick, twisted and nasty underbelly of society. Okay maybe not, but this summer they'll still gej a taste of "Law & Order: SVU." Christopher Meloni, star of the Special Victim's Unit offshoot of the "Law & Order" franchise, will star in Nickelodeon's first original primetime family TV movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The rather daunting, actor will play the titular "Gym n Teacher," a Olympics contender who is setting his sights on the gym teacher of the year award.
