He loved snow skiing, horseback trips in the Oregon Cascades, building, reading, world travel, family history and golf. In later years, he enjoyed working with his hands. His greatest love was his family. Harry is survived by three daughters and three sons: Ann (Frank) Alberta, Johansen, Lethbridge, Canada; Craig (Tommie Sue) of Salt Lake, UT; Bill (Carol) Moraga, California; Christine (Roger) Bacon, Flagstaff, AZ; Bryan (Pat) Hicks, Salt Lake, UT; and Cynthia Witt, Salt Lake, UT; 25 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, his parents, three brothers and two sisters, and a grandchild. Fineral services will be held Friday, January 7. 1999, at 11 a.m., in the Pleasant View 6th Ward LUS Chapel, 2445 N. 650 F.ast, Provo. Utah, now known as loka. His parents Lawrence were and Myrtle Lee Meranda Lee He Murdock. grew up fn Utah and Phoenix, Ariz., and married his sweetEllora heart, Lalovi Fish on Feb. 13, 1940. in the Mesa, Ariz., Temple. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, Tom was called to serve in the Central States Mission at age 17. When he returned, he completed high school at Phoenix Union High. As a stake missionary, he taught thousands pver the years and wrote and distributed literature sent all over the world. He loved music, had a beautiful JkL y voice and enjoyed singing at many occasions. Tom had a great love for people evidenced by his greeting to everyone: "Howdy, Neighbor!" He also had tremendous compassion for those in need, reaching out daily to lend a helping hand wherever one was needed. Forward Biggs, 96, Fork, Utah, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at the home of her daughter. She was born Jan. 8, 1903, in Cwmavdn, South Wales, to William and Naomi Biggs ... , She Forward. married Thomas Biggs, Jr. on April in 5, 1928. E v a n s t o n , - Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 25, 1928. He died June 5, 1981. Mable attended school in Varteg, South Wales. She worked at Primary Children's Hospital. She loved to knit, crochet, and read The Book of Mormon. She loved, dolls. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints where she held an entrepreneur, he started numerous businesses of various kinds. He pioneered air conditioning in Arizona during World War 11. He founded Nature's Way Products in 1969 as a result of his searching for a treatment to relieve his wife, Lalovi, who was suffering from cancer. He has been acknowledged as a pioneer of the natural and holistic movement in America leading the renaissance of botanical medicines in the 1970's. Tom is survived by his five children, Carolyn (Eldon) Hastings of Gilbert, Ariz.; George Thomas Jr. (Marilyn of Orem; Ken "Mimi") Murdock Murdock of Springville; Madelyn (Vincent) Mrykalo of Provo; Marlene (Dale) Black of Springville; 30 grandchildren and 24 two sisters, Alice (Jay) Burton of Hemet, Calif.; and Lurrene Childs of Littleton, Colo. The family is grateful for the frequent visits and devotion shown by Kristin Murdock and the loving, daily care by the Dale and Margie Wyler family of Orem. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Hobble Creek Stake Center, 555 S. 600 East, Springville. A viewipg will be held Friday, January 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 South, Springville. A viewing will also be held at the church on Saturday before the funeral from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 S. 400 East, Springville. He and Dr. Jack Haynes organized the first Exchange Club in Provo, for which he received an award for ting the most members to join. He was a former member of the Orem Lion's Club and- a present member of the Golden K Club of Orem. He was a member of the LDS Church.
