Show V Cultus Club members afternoon laughed at Wednesday inclement weather and gave toasts to the March Winds, when they met for their annual spring Lluncheon and election of officers. Held at a local cafe, long tables were made gay with arrangements of yellow daffodils, pussywillows and hand made place cards. Colorful kites were spaced across the ceiling. Mrs. Oeorge Chrlstensen, retiring president, was in charge and new officers elected are Mrs. William Hansen, president, who was vice president during the current year; Mrs. B. S. Eggert-son, vice president; Mrs Ralph Chappie, recording secretary; Mrs. Leland Sheets, correspond ing secretary; Mrs. Roy Crouch,! PAYSON X i treasurer. Theme of the lovely affair was "The March Winds" and group X songs, chosen with caprice, were "Dashing through the Snow" and "Springtime in the Rockies." They were led by Mrs. Vernon Kotter with Mrs. George Eckers-le- y at the piano. Mrs. Sheets, chairman of the event, introduced Mrs. A. C. Page as toastmaster. She toasted "The March Winds" and responses were given by "The North Wind," "The East Wind," "The South Wind," and "The West Wind" in the persons of members of the unit, in groups of six, reading from the printed page.
