While en route to Magna, they visited Mr & Mrs Merland Bills, Kearns. Mr & Mrs Roland Miller and daughter, Lee Anna, Fremont, Calif., are spending the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr & Mrs E. A. Miller, Oak St., and Mrs Erma Crump, 6th Ave. They came on Dec. 18 to attend the golden wedding anniversary of his parents Dec. 19, at the home of their and daughter, Mr & Mrs Bill Webb, Holladay. The Roland Millers plan to stay until Jan. 3. While here they received word from Fremont that and daughter, their Mr & Mrs Dave (Rolayne) Nichols, Fremont, were parents of a baby born Dec. 21. This is the first grandson. Great grandparents are Mr & Mrs E. A. Miller and Mrs Erma Crump. On Christmas Day the E. A. Millers and the Roland Millers were dinner guests of Mr & Mrs Bill Webb. On the day after Christmas Mr & Mrs E. A. Miller entertained for the group at their home. Miss Alta Miller, Alt a View Dr., left Friday morning of last week by plane to spend the Christmas holidays with Col. and Mrs W. A. Watts, Colorado Springs, Colo. On Christmas Eve a party was held at the home of Mr & Mrs Stanley Wells, Jackson St. Guests were Mr & Mrs Stanley Wells Sr., West Jordan, Mr & Mrs Larry Wells and family, West Jordan, and Mr & Mrs L. D. Bishoff and family, Murray. A social evening was enjoyed after which refreshments were served. Mr & Mrs Dale Brand, E. Wasatch St., entertained at a Christmas party Thursday evening. Guests were Mrs Ros-ett- a & Mr Mrs Brand, Myron Brand and family, Midvale, Mr & Mrs Paul Ebert and family, Mr & Mrs Jack Clark and family, Kearns, and Mr St Mrs Lynn Brand and family, White City. Following dinner, there was an exchange of gifts, and all the children participated in a program. Mrs George Pazell, 1st Ave., is now at home. She returned there Dec. 18 after undergoing surgery at Holy Cross Hospital. She had been in the hospital since Thanksgiving Day. Miss Linda Butterfield is spending the Christmas holidays with her mother, Mrs Ar nold J. Wahlquist entertained at dinner Sunday for her brother and sister-in-laMr & Mrs John P. Lowe, Willard. Other guests were Mr Wanlquist's sister. Miss Florence Wahlquist, Murray, and Julie Wahlquist. On Christmas Day the Henry Wahlquists and Julie were dinner guests of Miss Florence Wahlquist. Miss Janice Sabey, daughter of Mr & Mrs A. J. Sabey, Park St., is spending the holidays with her parents. She is a sophomore at Brigham Young University. Thursday evening of last week Miss Terry Setterberg, daughter of Mr & Mrs Calvin Setterberg, Alta View Dr., entertained at a caroling party. The Birthday Club enjoyed a a Christmas dinner party recently at the Town and Country. The group met at the home of Mrs Ekins after which they went to dinner. Following dinner, they viewed the Christmas lights and returned to the home of Mrs Ekins, Olympus St., for a social . time. A family dinner party was held recently at the home of Mr & Mrs Kay Nielsen, Murray. She is the daughter of Mr & Mrs Willis Dunn, Murray, formerly of Midvale. Holiday guests of Mrs Erma Crump, 6th Ave., have been her and daughter, Mr & Mrs Roland Miller and daughter, Lee Anna, Fremont, Calif., who have been here for two weeks, and another daughter, Mrs Lloyd Nelson, Roosevelt, and daughters, Cheryl and Ellen Rae, who came Sunday to spend a few days visiting Mrs Crump and Mrs Nelson's other daughter, Bcnnie Lynn Rolfc. On Christmas Eve Mrs Crump entertained at a family gathering for her children and grandchildren. Guests included Mrs Madge Green and family, Mr & Mrs Wendell RuIt and girls. This was the first time in IS years the Roland Millers had been home for Christmas. They were also guests of honor at dinner at a Midvale cafe hosted by Mr Si Mrs Boyd Crump Wednesday of last week. Mrs Erma Crump was also a guest. On Thursday evening Mr k Mrs E. A. Miller entertained for the Roland Millers and Mrs Crump by taking them to Valley Music Hall. Sunday Mrs Erma Crump entertained at dinner at 1 Midvale cafe for her daughter, Mrs Carol Butler, East Midvale, on her birthday.
