The department listed the two projects as the Qrem "burn" and lands cleared of cover near Mayfield. In both the reseeding was done by plane. Both are deer wintering areas. The lands near Orem are situated just north of the mouth of I'rovo Canyon and were burned out last summer by a fire. Some 700 acres were reseeded over the burned area with 7,000 pounds of seed being used at a cost of $3,500 for seed and $350 for plane hire.
