Mrs "Leonard NewDold, Olympus St., entertained at a party recently for her son, Neil, on his 10th-- ' hirthday. Guests included Gaylan Sharp, Carl W'asden, Ronnie Hatch, Bobby Thomas, Dean Smith, Larry Barfuss, Tommy s, Davis, Phillip Cabibi, Danny Andy Christopherson, Richard Thomas, Midvale, and Ron ald Mmmford, Sandy. Recuperating at her home is Mrs Leonard Newbold after hav ing been in the LDS Hospital for five days recently, at which time surgery was performed. Mrs Carl Zabriskie, East Midvale, formerly Miss Arlene Pearson, Smelter St., was guest of honor at a personal shower hoste ed by Miss Sue Jones, Miss Johnson, Miss Gayle Beck-steaSouth Jordan, and Miss Barbara Mecham, West Jordan, given at the home of Miss Jones. A kitchen shower was also given in her honor prior to her marriage by an aunt, Mrs Donald Bagley, Salt Lake. Mr & Mrs Harold Pearson, Smelter St., spent an evening recently visiting Mr Pearson's Mr & brother and sister-in-laMrs Howard Pearson, Spanish Fork. The Jenkins Cousin's Club met recently at the home of Mrs Florence Day, Draper, with the hostesses being Mrs Pearl Jenkins, Mrs Fay Jenkins, Midvale, and Mrs Day. Luncheon was served to the following: Mrs Eva Jenkins, Mrs Pearl Jenkins, Mrs Emma Jones, Mrs Stella Beckstead, Mrs Fay Jenkins, Mrs Melba Ferguson, Mrs Thelma Andersen, Mrs Alice Wallgren, Mrs Glen-netCoates, Mrs Wilma Hallett, Mrs Rowena Beratto, Mrs Elaine Matthews, Mrs Goldie Jenkins, Mrs Edith Mounteer, Midvale, Mrs Verna Barton, Murray, Mrs a Fern Eaton, Salt Lake, Mrs Hansen, Taylorsville, and Mrs Day. A business meeting, conducted by Mrs John Day, president, followed the luncheon. Officers for the coming year were elected. They are as follows: Mrs Stella Beckstead, president, Mrs Elaine Matthews, vice president, and Mrs Frances Sharp, secretary. New hostess partners for the coming year were also chosen. Plans for the Christmas party to be held Dec. 11 were discussed. The members will meet at the home of Mrs Frances Sharp and from there will go to a Salt Lake cafe for a holiday dinner.
