Sponsor Kids' Hornebuilders Hold Parent Demonstration The Primary Hornebuilders of Sandy Fifth Ward, held a "Parent Demonstration" Sunday after Ward noon in the Third-Fiftchapel. The program was under direction of Mrs Mary Mater teacher; Mrs Glenda Gaynote Gardner. Bluebird class; Mrs Irene Tolman, Seagull girls. Each class presented lesson demonstrations and every Pri mary girl participated. Teaching aids were shown. Refreshments were served to over 60 girls, parents, Primary officers and members of the bishopric. The Trekker class, under sup ervision of Mrs Lila Wilson, held its parent demonstration day on Sunday with 11 boys and la parents and Primary leaders enjoying the afternoon. Light refresh ments were served. h Paulsen-Jenso- This Friday evening, Dec. 4, members of the Sandy Junior Chamber of Commerce Auxiliary will escort 22 children on a shopping tour to Murray. Lois Crawiord, chairman tor the will have the help of every available member. The children will be given a $5 bill to spend on gifts they wish to give to immediate members of their families and will then return to the home of Mrs Lois Crawford where the gifts will be wrapped and the children given a treat. The financing of this Christmas project has been through the club's effort in participating in a contest, having won several cash prizes, it was announced by Mrs Reva Norris, president of the club. The newlyweds expect to return to the United States next fall, and are at present mak ing a home in Laon, France. Dec. 18 is the date set for the forthcoming marriage of Missi Glenna Cooper and Richard Boyce, son of Mr & Mrs Paul C. Boyce, Sandy. The couple is planning a wedding ceremony in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Miss Copper is the daughter of Mrs H, Glenn Cooper, Salt Lake, and the late Mr. Cooper. After the December ceremony the newlyweds will be honored that evening at a reception in Springfield, Ida. An open house in Sandy also will honor the couple. Miss Cooper, a sociology major at Brigham Young University, is president of the Associated WO' men Students. She ato ks a member of White Key, senior women s honorary, Phi Kappa Phi, and is affiliated with Toka Ion, .social unit. Mr Boyce. a junior at BYU is makrinc in education and is affiliated with the Viking Soc.al Unit. He has served two years in the Army.
