Charles Clyde Ashby, son of Brycc Ashby and Geneal Swenson Ashby, born Saturday, Nov. 27, died Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Delta hospital. The infant is survived by his parents of Delta, and grand parents, Mr Si Mrs Clyde Swenson, Sandy and Mr it Mrs Prosser Ash by, Delta. Interment was in Sandy City cemetery. Kennecott to Seal Dike at Magna Plant 6& Steps are currently being taken by Kennecott Copper Corp., to seal the northeast section of its huge Magna and Arthur mills tailings pond dike against the possible seepage of water. Under the program, tailings will be pumped through a 4 mile long pipe from the Magna mill to the northeast section of the pond and directed against the inside of the dike. Tailings are known to be effective in sealing the dike.
