CRECSENT LADY LIONS ENTERTAIN ON HALLOWEEN Plans have been completed for the annual community Halloween party to be held Saturday evening at 6 p.m. at the Crescent ward rec reation hall. Party will begin with a costume parade. Prizes will be awarded to the 10 best costumes. A series of cartoons will follow, after which bags of nuts, candy, and fruit will be presented to everyone present. The remainder of the evening will be spent dancing and playing games. This party is spon sored each year by the Lady Lions and financed by a sale which they are having. "Trick or treaters" are entirely out of order in our community, says Kitty Wellington, president. Parents are requested to send anyone to the party who comes to their doors. 11 Sor-ense- played and prizes won by Mrs Elmo Lunnen and Mrs Glen Johnson.
