Merlin Ashman of Redmond visited Saturday with Mrs C M Ashman and Mr & Mrs Harold Ashman. Mr & Mrs Bert Ashman and son of Cedar City and Mrs Preston Thompson of Salt Lake visited Mrs C M Ashman Christmas Day. Mrs R Gene Swapp and family spent the week end in Panguitch with her mother, Mrs Mary Clark and other relatives. Mr & Mrs Niels Nielsen entertained at a dinner Sunday honoring Mrs Ida Lubbers of Salt Lake, who recently returned from the Danish mission field. Other guests were Mr & Mrs Marvin Mortensen and Joe Lubbers of Salt Lake, Mr & Mrs Kenneth Nielsen and Amos Nielsen, Mr & Mrs Jack Rosell of Salt Lake. Miss Joyce Ashman is spending the holidays at Long Beach and Santa Barbara, Calif. Mr & Mrs Niels Nielsen entertained at a Christmas dinner for members of their family. Mr & Mrs Don Swenson and daughter, Karen, were Christmas dinner guests of Mr & Mrs Golden Ilaight in East Mill Creek. Mr & Mrs T Donald Creer attended a dinner and Christmas party at Murray Wednesday evening for faculty members of Arlington high school and their partners. Mr & Mrs Ivan Glover announce the birth of a son Dec. 19. Mrs Almarie Hurd who is a member of the Sandy school facteaching ulty, returned to her Monday after being confined to her home 3'4 weeks with bronchial pneumonia. Mr &, Mrs P A Swenson entertained for members of their family at a Christmas eve party. The guests were Mr & Mrs Irven Swenson and family, Mr & MrsV N Swenson and family and Mr & Mrs Don Swenson.
