A Murray man has worked for U.S. Smelting and Refining Co. for 45 years ployment with the company in 1922. He started as a furnace feeder assistant and advanced to a switchman. He has worked in many positions for the company, including an equipment operator. Currently Mr. Steadman is working at the flotation plant in Midvale. He said he has worked there for several years.
