Whitworth. The young couple exchanged vows Friday in the Gay Way Reception Center. Francis M. Whitworth, LDS Bishop and uncle of the bridegroom, officiated. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Lopez, Jeffery City, Wyoming, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Milton Whitworth, 3095 Lehl Drive. The new bride has been residing with her sister, Mrs. Dolores Unamuno, Granger, for the past year and a half. For her wedding and reception, the bride wore a gown of satin and lace, with a bodice featuring long tapered lace sleeves, and trimming of seed pearls and iridescent sequins . The skirt was fashioned with an apron of lace and fell into a long train. She wore a fingertip veil of illusion, and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Mrs. Unamuno, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sandra Wendrick and Miss Betty Jo Lopez, sister of bride. Addie Jolleen Lopez was flower girl. All were gowned in dresses in soft fall shades. Best man for his brother was Don BUtr Portrait Dean Whitworth. When quiz programs were riding high, I followed each contestant with awe at their displays of intelligence. laughed and loved with Lucy, was moved with the pathos of the Medic, and was sure the newcasts would put newspapers and radio I out of business. You see, I liked TV. 1 l However, it is each man to his own taste, and there are many programs that never see the light of screen in our living room. Sometimes when the program changes and we're too lazy to get up and change it or turn it off, and we don't like what comes on it doesn't take more than five minutes before, one by one, everybody leaves, finding something more to their liking to do. n. I If you, too, watched Macbeth and Julius Caesar last winter you are with me in the cheering section. There was little cut from the original, and the high schoolers (literature classes) were required to watch. Mine found it far more interesting than anticipated. You didn't have to be a highbrow to be truly moved when "Birnam wood did come to Dunsinane" right there before your eyes. In a different vein, and on the commercial stations, how about "Sing Along with Mitch"? All America loved it apparently. Our entire clan sat with feet tapping and lips humming. I love "The Price Is Right" but don't ask me why. I don't know. In the same class is "What's My Line" only I know why I like it. Arlene Frances and Dorothy Kilgallen always have the latest in clothes, and Arlene's hair styles are really something to see. Then the guest stars always put on such a show trying to look relaxed and casual and you know darn well they've been planning for week exactly what to wear and precisely how to act! We perhaps don't like and watch the same shows that other families do, and I find that a reasonable arrangement. No medium, meant for the entire public, can please everyone with everything offered. I don't read every page of the daily paper. In fact, there are pages that I ignore se completely that if they were accidently left out I wouldn't even know it. L vi C CV II1 Married Friday morning in Salt Lake LDS Temple rites were Miss Shirley Kay Foulger and Robert H. Coats, both of Murray. The couple were honored at a wedding breakfast following the ceremony, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Keith Foulger, 2765 W. 3100 South. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James H. Coats of 3625 W. 4700 South. For her wedding, the bride wore a full length gown of and tulle lace Ch.intilly and trimmed with pearls sequins. The fitted bodice featured a Sabrina neckline and sleeves. The long r bouffant skirt was trimmed with tiers of lace and tulle. Her bouquet was of lavendar roses' centered with an orchid. Maid of honor was Miss Marjorie Giles and Mrs. Glen Coats was matron of honor. Also attending the bride were Mrs. DeLoy Rupp, Miss Dalene Holman; Miss Nancy Johnson Miss and Cheryl Foulger. Flower ,girl was Jackie Foulger. They wore identically styled sheath ' dresses of lavendar with matching crystalette bougauntlets and hats. Their heart-shapequets of carnations were lily-point- . d.
