In addition to the obvious benefit of making it easier for a man to present his viewpoints in public, the plan seeks to speed up Jaycee meetings through quicker, more positive expressions of opinion. The state president selected Ray Smith, Glen Murray and Dr. Bruce Parsons as brief speakers to exemplify the plan and Dr. Jack Boggess and Lou Fischer as critics of the talks they gave. Vine St. Mr. Leva died Thursday in a-- Salt Lake City rest home afteT an illness. Msgr. Martin Burke officiated. Mr. Leva was born Sept. 27, 1875 in Silvano d' Orba. Italy. He came to the United States in 1909, and resided for a short, time in Bingham. He later moved to Murray where he had been a farmer. Mr. Leva was a member of tl St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kirorina Motto Leva, Murray; three daughters, Mrs. Steve ( Angela t Evanoff. Salt Lake City: Mrs. Basel (Rena) Stefan-of- f, Mldvale; Mrs. Stanley (Sparta) St. Sure, Ashlya, Japan; nine grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetary. First, on Dec. 22, 7:30 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, will be our annual Christmas party for children. An entertaining program for the kiddies has been arranged and Santa Claus will make his annual visit. The next event we have reference to is our New Year's Eve party. Tickets, which will be sol(4 at $3.00 a person, will include noise makers, hats, dinner and dancing from 10 p.m. to Tatsy Eagle The Murray Auxiliary, F. O. E., entertained state officers and members of various other aux- iliaries throughout the state. Officers of our auxiliary wore their new uniforms for the first time. Esther Hodges, state Madam President, complimented Murray on their uniforms, drill team performance. Wanda Kidwell and Donna Swanson also were plimented for their musical comcon- tributions. Mrs. John Rakes and Mrs. Don Rakes were initiated into membership of the auxiliary at our Wednesday meeting. We were very honoied Dec. 13 to have as our guest. Grand Madam President Virginia Turner of Powell, Wyo. A brief meeting was held followed by a dinner and social. The Christmas party committee promises a "gala" affair scheduled for Dec. 21. Members are requested to bring a 50 cent gift. Plate lunches will be served and a program will be presented. Reservations must be in by Dec. 19. They may be made with Velma Todd, or Mrs. L. E. morning hours. The bowling team won three and lost one in their last series of games. They now are one-ha- lf game out of first place. But they're determined to get back on top.
