Evans were honored at the annual business awards banquet, May 20 on the University of Utah campus. Mr. Scott was initiated a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, honorary business fraternity. He also was presented the Alpha Kappa Psi award for his outstanding work in the college of business on the campus. Mr.. Scott is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Scott. He was graduated from Murray High school in 1946 where he served as senior class president and a member of the student council. Mr. Evans was presented the First Security Foundation award LYXN NUFFER WHITES Seaman Lynn T. Nuffer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Nuffer, 4593 Boxelder St., writes home that he is enjoying his stay with the U. S. Navy, so far. His present assignment is doing "shore duty" at Astoria, Ore. Lynn also writes that he is taking an active part in the auxiliary organizations in the Astoria branch of the LDS Church. He is the deacon's advisor, second counselor in the MIA and is serving as a branch block teacher.
