The ceremony was attended by Ray Murphy, National Commander of the Legion and department and district officials. Due to weather conditions original plans for the occasion had to be abandoned. It was originally planned to hold the presentation in front of the city hall with the High School Band to furnish music. Harry Robbins made the opening announcement regarding the t'ost and the colors and then introduced Mayor Berger, who made the presentation speech. Commander Dingledine ef the Murray Post then accepted tho colors. Dr. Clove made the ad dress of welcome to National Commander, Ray Murphy and presented him with a large picture in colors of Bryce Canyon as a token of remembrance from the Murray Post. Commander Murphy responded with a short address stating that many new Posts have recently been organized and that men are growing more interested in the work and activities of the Legion. He also thanked the officers and members of the Post for the picture. Next Monday night the Murray Post will hold its regular meeting and the entertainment committee is busy planning an interesting program for the occasion. fcp h- j .i ' r- - HERE AND THERE Spring is here, -- e, , ...
