Also many attended part of the activities who did not register. Over 150 attended the barbeque beef dinner at Minersville and probably that many attended the breakfast of at Milford. Breakdown registration is as follows: 49 from Beaver County. 73 from the rest of the state. Of those registered from Beaver County 26 were from Beaver, 20 from Minersville and three from Milford. Judging from comments of the visitors, they were favorably impressed. Allan Adams of Randolph, state president, said as we stopped on Big Flat and looked back at the high mountains, "Did you ever see anything prettier anycommented Others where?" on the Saturday tour that they hadn't realized the extent and productiveness of our farms and ranches, and that they were glad to see the type of agriculture we have in Beaver County. Members of the committee worked hard and long to make the convention a success. Everyone who was asked to do anything did so and as a result the program went along smoothly. Cooperation of the cities ,the county, the schools. National the Lions Clubs, Guard and others was excellent. Advertising in the brochure helped greatly in paying expenses and people were very good about taking ads. The rains and the late season caused many cattlemen thruout the state to be late with their hay and this resulted in the decreased attendance. DELTA LIVESTOCK By W. R.
