Show TIM FISHER WEDS LOUISIANA GIRL Mr. and Mrs Jeffrey Veillin of Shreveport, La., announce the marriage of their daughter. Gloria Jean, to A 2 c John T. (Tim) Fisher, on Saturday. May 29. at Wascom, Texas. Members of the bride's family were in attendance at the wedding. The newlyweds are living in Shreveport, where Tim has been stationed with the Air Force the past year. They expect to be in Milford for a visit in July. Tim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher of Milford. He attended the Milford schools until his senior year, when he moved with his family to Davis, Calif. Graduating from Davis High School in 1963, he enlisted in the U S Air Fores the same year. After his next leave he will be stationed in Panama. After graduating from high school, the new Mrs. Fisher attended beauty school and is presently employed as a beauty operator. While there she did Temple work. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Myers motored to Salt Lake this week on business. Literary Club met at the home of June Pearson last week. Reva Albrecht gave the book review. Seventeen members were present to enjoy the cultural evening. Mrs. Gladys Myers spent several days in Las Vegas this week. She took her grandchildren home and visited her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smith. Lorie Eyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre, is visiting relatives in California. Lyle Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Carter, who suffered an accident on a horse, Mrs. Wanda Corbridge and Mrs. Shirley Hollingshead are patients in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. Newell Carter is recovering from surgery at the Cedar City Hospital. The Elders Quorum and their wives held their annual outing at the Beaver County Picnic Grounds last Friday. Many couples enjoyed the affair. Shanna Marie Gilliam SEE JULE GILLINS TO USE STOCK SHOW GROUNDS Official name for the Stock Show Grounds and Picnic Recreation Area one mile east of Minersville will be the Beaver County Livestock Show Ground according to Ralph Pearson, show president Jule Gillins,' Minersville, was named to be in charge of the grounds, and persons wishing to use the grounds should make arrangements or reeservations with Mr. Gillins. Overnight camping will not be permitted in the area. It is especially Important that large groups such as family reunions, parties, and other who want to use the buildings and power make reservations with Mr. Gillins. He is the second child and first son for the Van Gorders. Mrs. Van Gorder is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Jones of Garrison. They came to Milford on July 4 of last year, and Mr. Van Gorder has been employed by American Mining Co. but is now unemployed.
