As I see it, Team Hill has accomplished much this past year. From successfully hosting the world at our front door with the Winter Olympics, to dazzling command inspectors during MSEP inspections to meeting our production goals and deploying our people and assets to hot spots around the world each of you has played a major role in helping us meet our important and varied mission here with the style and panache you are renowned for. The numerous awards and recognition are a testament of that. World order has been changed forever and that fact alone emphasizes how critical our mission is to our nation and all Americans. Transformation is the DoD and Air Force's present focus and we're meeting its goals and objectives in addition to combating an elusive enemy during this difficult war on terrorism. Each of you, your families and our local community, has remained flexible while experiencing the tide of present operations. Patience, vigilance and perseverance are attributes we've all learned throughout this year and I'm asking for you to continue to practice them at all times. The holidays are a time of joy, reflection and cheer but they can also be a lonely and O 1 c to !l litis This ifieue of the Hilltop Times is the bst for 202. The first issue of 2003 is Jan. 9.
