SPORTS GLANCE Hill skaters suffer loss 1-- Hill's hockey team ended its season Sunday with a disappointing playoff loss to Green Parrot at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center. In spite of the loss, the Falcons ended the season with a strong second-placfinish in the Salt Lake Senior Hockey League playoffs. The Falcons also finished second in league play. Green Parrot finished in first place. The first and second periods went by without a Hill score, while Green Parrot netted two goals in the first period and five in the second to go into the third period with a 0 lead. Hill scored first in the third period on a goal by Gary Batinich with an assist from Paul Taylor. Batinich then scored unassisted. Green Parrot added another goal, but the Falcons answered with a goal by Louis DiMillio on an assist from Batinich and Mike Jachim. That put the final score at "We had an outstanding season and did well in the playoffs," said DiMillio. "We were missing some key defensemen in the playoffs, which hurt us. They got some lucky breaks, or we got some bad ones, whichever way you want to look at it." 9-- 4 e 7-- 9-- first half, but the Tigers followed suit near the end at of the first half and left the game tied at 4.
