Show 16 SPORTS Feb. 15, 1991 Hilltop Times skaters ice narrow victory Hill Hill's hockey team iced a narrow 5 victory over the Bonecrushers in action last Sunday at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center. Louis DiMillio scored first for Hill with an assist by Gary Batinich, but the 'Crushers answered with 6-- a goal. Batinich netted one next lor Hill, with Greg Patterson getting the credit for the assist. Mike Jachim got one past the Bonecrushers goalie on an assist by Batinich and Mike Sarazine. The Bonecrushers chalked up a second goal to end the first period DiMillio opened the second period with a goal. 3-- 2. Confer schedules fournamenls Jachim and Batinich assisted. Sarazine then scored on an assist from DiMillio, but the Bonecrushers managed to get another goal before the second period ended with Hill leading Unassisted, Hill's Lew Gordon slapped in what proved to be the goal The Bonecrushers scored twice before the game ended with another Hill victory. "Overall the game went very well," said DiMillio. "Our goalie, Dan Roe, kept us in the game the last two minutes." Next up for Hill will be Skate and Score. The two teams will meet Feb. 24 at Cottonwood Heights. The Thornton Community Center will sponsor a table tennis tournament Feb. 22 and an eight-bal- l tournament Feb. 23. The tournaments will begin at 6 p.m. in the center and are open to all base workers. The entry fee is $3 for the table tennis tournament and $3 for the eight-bal- l tournament.
