If you are lucky granted, most people do not consider themselves so you are off to some dreamed-abodestination to experience life at its fullest. Unfortunately, life is hard, school is hard and time, energy and finances never seem to be on your side. Do not fret, you are not alone. When asked what they had cooking for the illustrious Spring Break, the majority of those surveyed around campus answered always with a severe edge of disappointment attached along the lines of: "Not much," "I'm just going to catch up on homework," or, as one freshman noted, "I'm going to work extra hours and then eat, sleep and drink by my loneut some." So who are those students and faculty members that are going to places and what makes them so different from the rest of the campus community? What follows is a few consolatory descriptions from students that are doing what most of you are doing absolutely nothing extravagant. Then comes the obligatory few that actually got off of their butts and are going somewhere and doing something. They are included for the explicit purpose of being examples for the rest of you in two distinct ways. First, to give you something to think or dream about as your Spring Break passes you buy, and hopefully act as inspiration for you to get up and see the world whether that world be local or at large to live life to its fullest. far-o- ff PEOPLE TOO BUSY LIVING LIFE TO ACTUALLY LIVE LIFE Kameron an Stander, in undergraduate anthropology, basically echoed what most people will be doing with the extra time on their hands. "I'm not going out of town or anything, except maybe to my parents house in Provo to pack up my loose ends and put . them in storage. Then I will try to catch up on all my assignments. On Wednesday and Thursday, I'm planning to go to Park City and see Carl Dennison's 'Tiny Universe' play, but that's about it." So if your plans for the week off look uncomfortably close to Stander's, do not feel too bad that you're not basking amongst the beautiful bodies crowding the sunny beaches of Florida at least your idea of going out of town does not consist of a trip to Provo. But Stander is at least accenting n his vacation with small fun and entertainof highlights ment, such as concerts. Genie Ogilvie a patent agent who already has received one degree and is now working toward another stated rather bluntly and as if there was truly only one answer that, "I have to go into work everyday and when I'm not there I'll be working on papers." As well as making the vacation sound as boring as possible, . WHm - I...
