The issue in the June 8 referendum is a simple one: Should one cent of every ten-doll- ar purchase be applied through the sales tax to support Utah's arts and educational organiza- tions, which include Pioneer Theatre Company, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, the Utah Museum of Natural History and Garden adn Red Butte Arboretum. The funds would also help underwrite the Utah Syphony, Hogle Zoo, Repertory Dance Theatre, Dance Company, Utah Opera, the Salt Lake Acting Company, Ririe-Woodbu- ry and the Children's Dance Theatre. our good friends, all volunteers, are spending considerable time and energy in seeking support for this meaMany of sure.
