Show Obituaries New Utah! Dora Christiansen Jeanne Jackson On July 20, 1999, Dora Christiansen had a joyous reunion with her husband. Jeanne Coleman Jackson, 92, died July 26, 1999. Devoted to family and friends and a talent ed, dedicated , granacnn-drendaugh-ter-in-la- and her She also dedicated her life to serving others, both church and community. She had callings in all auxiliaries in the church and especially enjoyed working in the Primary. Her love went beyond the bounds of her family to encompass all that she met. She is survived by four daughters and three sons: Garth M. Christiansen, Edna (Les) Haley, Gail (Elaine) Christiansen, Pete (Sherie) w, fam- ily who have on gone before. She was born January 10, 1919 in Oak 1 Creek. Utah to Sidney Willis .. ' ini, Barbara Christiansen, (Richard) Long, Jolyn (Earl) and Mary Hansen Mower. She married Garth Cook Christiansen on May 1, 1941 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 1985. She attended school in Fairview and graduated from North Sanpete High School and later attended Snow College. The main focus of her life was her family whom she loved Colyer, Wendy (Marion) Turley, 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildre- n. Additional survivors include her brother, Lee (Jean) Mower and a sister-in-laGoldie Mower. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren: Jenifer, McKay, Brittany and a daughter-in-laEcho. Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, 1999 in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. w, dearly. She is survived by two daughters, Elese Adams, Salt Lake City; and Merrilyn (Kurt Michael) Lloyd, Montgomery, Alabama; 2 sisters, Edna Peterson, Bountiful; and Phyllis Scheuller, Kaysville; a brother, Hal Coleman, St. George. She had eight grandchildren, and She five was preceded in death by her husband, Clell; an infant son, Coleman Clell; a sister, Erma Provost; and a brother, Hugh Coleman. The family would like to express thanks to all who helped make her last year more pleasant. Her doctors, nurses, and aides were wonderful. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call from a.m. prior to services. The marriage was solemnized in the LDS Temple on May 5, 1964 He attended Payson High School. He was employed at Geneva Steel as a crane operator for 37 years. He retired in 1986. He enjoyed fishing and camping, especially with his great-grandchildre- n. 10, 1906, to Hugh C. and Alice Kohler Coleman The second of six children she lived in Midway, Utah, until her marriage to Clell Jackson, September 10, 1936, when they settled in Lehi. A graduate of Brigham Young University, she taught home economics for 32 years at Lehi High School and Brigham Young University. She moved to Bountiful in 1987 and made many new friends late in her life. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, entertaining, and traveling. She 'vas active in her Saints. He had been a dance director for many years. He was active in drama. He was an elder. Survivors include his wife, Lois, of Pleasant Grove; his children, Kim D Tervort, Pleasant Grove; John E. Tervort. Lehi; Tarvel (Deborah) Tervort, Highland; Melanie Allgood. Wendover; Briarlyn Peterson, Lehi; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his brothers and sister, Glen Tervort, Payson; Dale Tervort, Lancaster, California; and Rosella Samuels, Payson. Funeral services were held Friday, July 23rd, in the Timpanogos Sixth Ward Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Burial was in Memorial the Timpanogos Gardens, Orem.
