Lehi Jr. High $3.00 & Fun Day 11am - 5pm Wines Park Obituaries Norman Claire Webber passed away peacefully in Ivins on June 6, 1999, at age 92. was He born in Richfield Jan. 20, 1907. His early schooling took place in Loa, Wayne He County. attended Cyprus High School in Magna where he was student body vice president and participated in football, basketball, baseball and semi-pro boxing. A gifted tenor voice provided opportunities to sing in a barbershop quartet which talent he enjoyed and shared throughout his life. He married Helen Hutchings Sept. 29, 1934. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1958. He worked as a high pressure pipe welder throughout the United States on numerous construction projects for 40 years. During World War II he worked at the Bremerton, Wash. Naval Shipyard. Norman and Helen raised four children in American Fork, Swhichj he always considered his liome. At retirement they moved- - to St. George, where he became an avid rose gardener. He loved the outdoors and was especially fond of fly fishing, traveling and temple work. His devotion to his family was reflected in annual vacations enjoyed at outdoor resort areas. He was especially fond of Fish Lake, where, during the Great Depression he oftentimes tied custom flies for prominent California visitors, directing them to prime fishing locations and techniques. He was a guide before there were official guides, helping him survive during these difficult financial times. When most were struggling to find employment, he worked as a printer in Magna. The legacy he left his posterity was hard and determination work, integrity. Surviving family members include one son and three daughters: Richard C. (Dawn) Webber, Park City; Shannon (Don) Martindale, Ivins; Nancy (Steve) Rasmussen, Alpine; Robyn (John) Thompson, Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 15, at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Interment was in Fork. American Fork City Cemetery. Aufhammer and Aubry Christofferson. Jeff was born October 12, 1975, to David A and Bonnie J Sheen Parker in bait Lake City, Utah, and later moved with his family to Alpine, Utah, where he fell in love with the beautiful mountains. His favorite pastime was camping, and mountain climbing with his friends in the surrounding hills and mountains of Alpine. When the snow fell he was off again to the hills with his beloved ness and compassionate care. Thanks again to all for your words of comfort, thoughtful-ness- , love, flowers and food. Anderson & Sons Mortuary. American Fork. Floyd Corbett Wetzel, 73, passed away June 13, 1999 at his home in American Fork. He was Dorn May 18, 1926 to Harry H. and Ruby Irene Corbett He Wetzel. His passions were his many friends, his landcruiser, his motorcycle, and his guitar. He was also a very gifted writer, a talent he didn't have a chance to develop fully. He had a tender heart toward people, especially his family, and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Sheen Parker, his father, David A. Parker, his brother, Randy (Melanie) Parker, two sisters, Julie (Les) Scott; Christi (Brett) Jackson; his grandparents, Edward and Virginia Johnson, four uncles and aunts, two nieces, 13 nephews and eight cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Alpine Cove Ward (1125 North Alpine Blvd). Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
