The announcement was made by Mayor Ken Greenwood at the Veteran's Memorial Dedication, May 31. The American League Post 19 had a goal of $26,000 for the memorial of which $14,000 has been donated. When the veterans presented the memorial plans to they did not solicit funds from them but requested permission to build the memorial at the the city, cemetery site. Jaclyn Hunt, daughter of Randy and Lisa Hunt, was named Miss Lehi 1999 in the annual scholarship pageant held last Saturday night. Bridgette Glodowski and Shannon Lynn Larsen were selected as first and second attendants, respectively, to the new Miss Lehi. Barnes. Walter Marlin Fitzgerald, and Robert Scott will be the entertainment for Arts in the Park Sundav June 20. The band has been together since 1971 and is still the same four men that began it 28 years ago. The band consists of three guitars and drums.
