She reallv seemed to care that two of the three thermostats were broken. That there wasn't enough money to get them fixed, and that, even wrapped in three blankets, she and her baby were still cold. Jennifer had asked permission to find help, but the young mother didn't expect much. Now the police were at the door. She had to open it. To her surprise, the police were only there to bring a large space heater and more blankets.
