Show New Utah! - Encore Piano Teachers announce competition winners Encore Piano Teachers' Association recently held its Eighth Annual Keyboard Competition. Approximately 100 students participated, all receiving evaluations and certificates. Trophies were receivedbythetopthree winners in each division, and medallions were awarded to honorable mention winners. First place in Division 1 was awarded to (grades K-Bethany Richards, student of Lori Weiss. Second and third place awards went to Lindsey Brinton and Kristin Bentley, 3) students of Irene Peery and Christie Peery, respectively. Honorable mention winners were Nicolas Blosil, Spencer Moeller and Lindsey Rhodes. Stephanie Brinton, student of Irene Peery, received first place in Division II (grades with Aubrey Moeller, student of ), Paula Clark, and Amber Thornton, student of Jill Winters, receiving second and third places, respectively. Honorable mention awards went to Ciera Davis, Aaron Inouye and Karlie Rhodes. Ashley Christenson, student of Gary Amano, was awarded first place in Division III (grades Second place went to Christy Marie Vineyard, student of Paula Clark. Smith attended American Fork High School and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from BYU.
