The fair, sponsored by Meadow's PIA, attracted a large turn-oof students and their families. With teaching booths and programs from community services, the fair was considered a successful culmination of the school's Ribbon Campaign Week. SoSdPShm TeriSue Smith: grade students Fifth graders can look forward to 39 days of free skiing this year, thanks to Ski Utah's now Fifth Grade Ski and Snowboard Passport program, which begins this week. All Utah fifth graders are eligible to participate in this program, which also offers discount coupons for lessons and equipment rental, free pins, stickers, and more. Although the Passport is free, fifth graders must apply for the Passport. Applications can be obtained at Ski Utah, located at 150 West 500 South in Salt Lake City, See Ski and Snowboard Rental Shops, Breeze Mountain Sports Rentals, and Max Snowboards. Each application must include a 2X2 photo and proof of the student's fifth grade status. One paying adult must accompany every two passport holders at the resort for safety of ' 4 the Passport holders. She is the daughter of Ronald and Kaye Smith of Lehi. a, Sue, a LHS Senior, is an adorable perfectionist who enjoys succeeding. In school activities, Sue is the editor of the school paper and a member of the National Honor Society and peer leadership and Academic Decathlon teams. This past summer, Sue represented Lehi High at Southern Utah University as a Girl's State delegate, where she r received a full tuition scholarship. - 4 Sue RaS received the Nati6n-- ! four-yea- mam ll Cm q op al English and Science Merit awards, is an Orrin Hatch Youth Advisory Committee member, and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. She takes demanding advanced classes in biology, history, calculus, and English while maintaining a 3.963 grade point average. As an active member of the Lehi 11th Ward, Sue currently serves as Laurel class president and Young Women's sports director. She has served in all her Young Women's class presidencies, participated in numerous service projects, and is currently working toward the Young Women's Recognition award. Sue's community activities include participating as a court clerk for the Lehi City Youth Court and serving as a D.A.R.E. role model. In her free time, Sue enjoys Never go alone.
