An open house in her honor will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, from noon to 2 p.m. at 873 N. 610 East, American Fork. Beatrice currently resides at the Timp Haven Care Nursing Home, 651 E. 200 South, Lehi. She welcomes visitors. Beatrice was born Oct. 23, 1903 in Anderson, McDonald County, Mo., to William Edward and LouElla Slagle Mitchell. Beatrice married Russell Lamb of Sarcaxis, Mo. in 1922. They were later divorced. She later married Uless O. Dunkie of Joplin, Mo. in 1936. Beatrice was employed at J.C. Penney's in Joplin, Mo. ... . (mmm .: Mr. and Mrs. Russell L.
