The seventh annual JAKES event, scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at 9 am, will be located at the Palmyra Campground in Diamond Fork Canyon and is open to boys and girls, ages 10 to 14. Students will visit several stations where they will become familiar with wild turkey habitat, history of these birds, biology and management, turkey calls, and language of wild turkeys. , camp in town... Two accidents, recently occurring at the Flaming Gorge Recreation Area, have prompted State Park rangers to urge boaters to follow State boating laws and safe boating rules. State law requires all passengers under age 14 to wear life jackets, while the boat is in operation. Rangers suggest that all pas river guide.
