Shalyn Wellness Center offered at Elementary Grandparent's Day. Principal Glenn Martin reported 426 visited their grandparents grandchildren's classroom. Each grade, kindergarten through sixth, held a half hour block time in the classroom. Classes included a variety of activities to include the grandparents. Some performed, some helped their grandchildren with a work project, others shared letters or told about school when they were a child. The kids were LHS "You get out of life what you desire to put into it," is the motto of this week's Pioneer Profile, Rebecca Groll, daughter of Steven and Nancy I. Groll of Highland. in the program to decrease body fat, lower blood pressure, increase heart recovery rate and increase flexibility. The Lehi High School Cross National English Merit award and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. She has taken advanced placement classes in biology and English Language and Composition and has maintained a, 3.7 grade point average during her school Rebecca is an active senior at Lehi High who is also described as being organized, committed, loyal, a hard worker, and a young woman who is dedicated to high principles and goals. She is a member of the cheerleading squad, and a member of the science and Spanish clubs. Rebecca has received the , two-ye- ar member of the Highland 10th ward, Rebecca has held many leadership positions in the Young Women's organization and participated in numerous service projects. She is currently working toward the Young Women's Recognition Award. During her free time, Rebecca enjoys water and snow skiing, sewing, reading, being with friends, and traveling.
