Show 1 Obituaries Itce I. Brooks 81 Kenneth (Connie) Grace in Lehi. Besides her great love and devotion for her family and friends, she has enjoyed a life fully on Feb. 10, 1998 at St. Mary's in Grand Junction, long gifted talent, that of music. Over her life, she has gladly shared her music with Lucille many. Lucille was an active member in the LDS Church. She held vairous positions in the auxiliary organizations, one of which was primary teacher in the moonbeam class at the State Training School. She loved people and enjoyed serving others. Her life has been devoted to family and friends alike. Over the past few years she has greatly enjoyed her association with her friends in their family home evening group. She is survived by six children: Mrs. Dan (Beverly) Evans, Grand Junction, Co.; Ralph A. (Sandy) Brooks, Levan, Utah; Lloyd R. (Linda) Brooks; Bert Norman (Vera) Brooks; Mrs. Kenneth (Connie) Grace, all of Lehi; and Nolan T. (Marie) Brooks of Highland; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren, plus six additional new babies due by summer. Additional survivor is one sister, Mrs. Bill (Joy) Slater, Riverton. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in the 0 Lehi Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Colorado. was born in Riverton, on Oct. W Utah, the fourth of five children to Thomas Butler Lloyd and Mary Andersen Lloyd. She attended schools in the Jordan School District through 10th grade. She married John Albert Brooks, of Lehi on June 8, 1933. Their marriage was solemnized a year later in the Salt Lake 4. 1916, Temple. They made their first home in Riverton for 3 12 years, during which time they were blessed with two children. Lehi then became home for the balance of their lives. While here, they were blessed with four more children. In addition to being wife and mother, she spent her life supporting her husband on their family farm, in his construction business and all other pursuits until his death on March 18, 1982. From the time of Bert's death, to the present, except for winter visits with her daughter Beverly, in Grand Junction, Lucille has enjoyed her home with her daughter, Mrs. Orville Vibbert Orville Vibbert, our sweetheart, father, grandfather, Marion Bingham, and Myrtle Bean, all of Idaho; Mary Alice Franks, Pendleton, Oregon; brother, and sister-- friend, passed away Hannah Vibbert, Idaho. He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Laura Mavis Jackson, Devin Max Harding, brother, Raymond Vibbert, and sister, Buelah Louder. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 17 in the Lehi 9th Ward LDS Chapel. A special viewing was held in honor of his 90th birthday on Monday evening. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society. in-law, at his home in Lehi, Feb. 14, 1998, at the age of 89. He was born Feb. 16, 1908 in Summer '-- great-grandchil- d, Shade, Kentucky, to Charlie and Myrtie Sartain Vibbert. He .married Rowene Russon, Oct. 22, 1943 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Jan. 17, 1957. Orville was a farmer and spent many years farming in LehT with his partner, John Price.
