Show Citizen, Free Press, Review, November 12, 1997 Piano students receive competition awards Encore Piano Teachers' Association held its Seventh Annual Keyboard Competition on Oct. 18. Approximately 70 students participated, receiving evaluations and all cer- tificates. were Trophies received by the top three winners in each division and medallions were awarded to honorable mention winners. First place in Division I was awarded to (grades Jana Leigh Weiss, student of Irene Peery. Second and third place awards went to Lindsey Brinton and Bethany K-- ), Karlie Rhodes. Michelle Bailey, student of Paula Clark, was awarded first place in Division III (grades Second place went to Tyler ). lessons of life and independence in "Little Women: Part First" at Brigham Young University in the Margetts HSR Guys Richards, respectively. Honorable mention winners were Shawn Crawley, Kika Latu and Henry Smith. Nia Latu, student of Irene Peery, received first place in Division II (grades with Seidi Inoueye and Andrew Hartshorn receiving second and third. Honorable mention awards went to Malory Hansen, Aubrey Moeller and and Dolls The Lehi High School's Performing Arts Department is inviting everyone to the first performance in the school's newly renovated auditorium located at 180 N 500 E, Lehi. "Guys and Dolls" opens on Thursday, Nov. 13 at Lehi High School. The production continues Nov. 14, 15, 17 and 18 at 7:30 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 for adults, $4 for children and students with activity cards, with $20 for a family ticket. Theater Nov. The play will be performed daily at 7:30 p.m. except Sundays and Mondays, with a 2 p.m. matinee Nov. 15. Martial arts University's Theater Ballet presents its Ballet Showcase Thursday and Friday (Nov. 13 and 14) at 7:30 p.m. in 166 Richards Building.
