Therald and Joan were married and sealed their love and family for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS. Temple on January 28, 1953. Their children, James Clifton Beckstrand (deceased), Kennan and Ilene Beckstrand (Fruit Heights, Utah), Pamela Beckstrand (Pleasant Grove, Utah), Mark Todd and Shelley Beckstrand (Highland, Utah), and Neal Jay and Kristi Beckstrand (Pleasant Grove, Utah) will miss the loving hugs and encouraging smiles of support that their mother continually shared. One of the greatest sources of pleasure for Joan was her five grandchildren. Preston, Jordan, Ethan, Conrad, and Courtney will always remember their grandma's eternal love and testimony. He 1953 19, could have loved a mother more or felt more love. Joan was born, April 22, 1932, in Pleasant Grove, to Harold James Hardman and Mae Lillian Wadley Hardman. She will be met on the other side by both of her parents. She was an alumnus of Pleasant Grove High School. Joan loved her family, both those on the earth and those who preceded her through the veil. She will be met by hundreds of her family members for whcmwho she did their genealogy work and temple work for. Her love of the gospel of Jesus Christ was exemplified by her years of service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She served in Stake and Ward presidencies in the Relief Society, Primary, and Young Women's She organizations. touched many lives with her teaching, talks, and testimony. She was honored by the Lamba Delta Sigma, LDS sorority, as an Elect Lady and loved her heritage by actively participating in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Her influence and love will have a lasting effect on many lives and individuals. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 10 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove East Stake Center located at 825 South Loader Avenue in Pleasant Grove, Utah. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the funeral services. Internment will be in the Meadow, Utah, cemetery on Wednesday, June 11 at 3 p.m. LDS church having held many positions which included 20 years as a temple worker in the Salt Lake, Provo, and Mt. TImpanogos Temples. Harvey and his wife Hazel also served an 18 month mission to the Arizona Tempe Mission at the Mesa Temple Visitors Center. He served as an active member in the Pleasant Grove Kiwanis Club for over 30 years and served District Lieutenant as Utah-IdahGovernor in 1977-7o married Nelda Hicken on January 21, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS She passed away Temple. December 16, 1974. He later married Irene Binns Evans on July 3, 1976. She passed away February 2. 1981. He married Hazel Olsen Tate Wood on May 7, 1983. He spent his early life in Delta, where he graduated from Delta High School in 1933. He pursued his education in music at Snow College and BYU graduating in 1938. He worked his entire life as an educator in both high school music and elementary education and retired in 1977 after 39 years of service. He was an active member of the Enjoyable personal activities included music, woodworking, square dancing, traveling, and gardening. Survivors include his wife Hazel of Pleasant Grove, two sons and a daughter: Don (Lois) Rawlinson, North Logan, Utah; Kent (Kristine) Rawlinson, Richardson, Texas; ReNae (Dale) Woolsey, Central Valley, Utah; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She graduated from American Fork High School and attended SUU of Cedar City. She was very active in civic and church activities. She served in various callings in the LDS Church and touched many lives as the Ward Young Mary Pulley Women's Mary Jane Pulley lovingly known as the "Christmas Lady-passaway peacefully at her home June 4, 1997 in President and as 1st Counselor in the Stake Young ed Women's presidency. Pam was employed by American Fork City for the past 14 years. She is survived by two sons, American f Fork. She Corby and Mark Baldwin of American Fork; stepsons, Cole Baldwin, Provo, Clint Baldwin, San Francisco; her mother, Rhea Edwards, American Fork; a brother, Jerry (Sandy) Edwards, American Fork; two sisters, Patricia (William) Callahan, Orem, Jody (Calvin) Houghton, Highland; and a step granddaughter, Zoe. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 9th Ward, 673 E. 300 North. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment, American Fork born 18, was March 1900 in American A to Fork Andrew William and Emma Louise Smith Pulley. One of the many legacies she leaves behind is the annual Christmas celebration she began in 1942. She delighted children and adults alike with the beautiful Christmas lights and music, and Santa at her home greeting cars full of children with candy canes and Christmas Spirit. Liddiard, American his Fork; children; Michael Liddiard Our loving mother and wife, Elaine Anderson Bateman, 52, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 1997, after a n. home. He was born Jan. 2, 1913 to and Samuel Clara Peay Liddiard in courageous battle He lived a good full life. He was a real hard worker. He completed his last 40 hour week Friday, June 6. He was an honest man. He worked for Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe for 34 years, Zions Bank for 9 years and Bonneville Nursery for 9 years. One of his greatest accomplishments was to join 3 families together in love. He married 3 beautiful women: Clella Anderson who died 1969; Ellen Affleck who died 1976; and Marvel N. Louder, surviving. He had a great posterity: five chil- - ents, Mark B. and Jill Brierer Wright of Milwaukee, Wise; his grandparents: Roy and Barbara Bierer of Brigham City; Jerry and Paula Brooks of Lehi; Joseph and Tommie Wright of Salt Lake City. She was born to Clyde LeRoy and Constance Porter Anderson on July 31, 1944. Elaine moved to Alpine in 1950. She earned a bachelors degree at Brigham Young University as a medical technologist. She married Joseph Brent Bateman on Aug. 6, 1965 in the Logan Temple. She dearly loved her husband and all of her 12 special children. They have always been the light of her life. Elaine is survived by her husband, Brent; their 12 children and four grandsons: Jenny (and Bill Myers, their children: BJ, Tail and Ammon); Janet, Joey, Julia, Jordan (and Michelle, their son, Jack); Jerusha (and Kris Riser), John, Jeanna (and Lyle Swapp), Judy, Jimmy, Jared and Joshua. Elaine is also survived by brothers: Tom, Chris and Jerry Anderson; sisters: Mary Lou A. Peterson, Lynne A. Brown, Anne A. Esplin and Faye A. Litster. Pleasant Grove's Jonah Roy Wright Jonah Roy Wright returned home .to our Heavenly Father, joining his sister, Courtney Anne. He died on June 6, 1997 at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin due to a congenital heart disease. He was born on June 5, 1997 at St. Joseph's Hospital at 3:34 p.m. Jonah is survived by his par- her Orwin; Bonnie Brown and friend John Taylor; Andy (Carla) Liddiard; stepchildren with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her, but especially (Elizabeth) Liddiard ; Patricia (Steven) Sonntag; Susan (Doug) Provo. Jay and Juanita Singleton Norman J.
