Several members were very successful in their home arena, working their way toward the state high school finals rodeo. In calf roping, Norris finished in second place, followed by Shane Cook in fourth place and John Lewis in seventh place. Norris and his partner, Tyson Allen, took third in the team roping division, with Brady Davis and Heath Webber in sixth place in the same event.
