Show Obituaries Lyle N. Citizen, Free Press, Review Grant Merma Lyle Nash Grant, age 104, died May 3, 1997 at the home of her son, Dr. J. Mark Grant in Alpine. She was bora February 18, 1893 in Alpine, Utah, the daughter of Ephraim Jefferson and M i ndw e 1 1 Preston Nash. She married Dr. James Mark Grant June in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Sept. 30, 1930. Lyle was the American Fork City Librarian, and was employed at the Utah State Training School for many years. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as an organist, Primary President, and a member of the Alpine Stake Relief Society Board. Her hobbies included painting and crocheting; she was also a talented 17, 1914 musician. She was the oldest living resi- dent of Alpine. She had lived with her daughter, Dorothy Wright, for the previous eight years in Provo. She is survived by three daughters and two sons: Dorothy Wright, Mrs. Winn Provo; (Merma) Carlisle, Salt Lake; Zola Anderson, American Fork; James Nash (Lyravin) Grant, Salt Lake; and Dr. J. Mark (Myrna) Grant, Alpine; 26 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and 26 She was the last survivor of the Ephriam Jefferson Nash Family. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Lora Shelby, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8 at 2 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork . Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Lillian Greenwood Beck. Johnson Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Karen Lee Alldredge Johnson, age 53 of died Lehi, May 2, 1997. She was born Sept. 29, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the of daughter Levi Quentin and Irene Russell Alldredge. She married Jerry Michael Johnson, June 1, 1961 in Kearns, Utah. She was a homemaker and a member of the LDS Church where she served for many years as a primary teacher and a visiting teacher. She was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kristine Karen Johnson; and brother Ricky Alldredge.
